gluten-free diet is a diet that excludes gluten. Gluten is found in grains such as wheat, barley, rye, and a cross between wheat and rye called triticale. Gluten causes health problems in sufferers of celiac disease (CD) and some cases of wheat allergy .A gluten-free diet is a diet that excludes the protein gluten. Gluten free diet is closely related to wheat free diet.

Gluten free ingredients include rice, millet and quinoa. A gluten-free diet is primarily used to treat celiac disease.  Eating a gluten-free diet helps people with celiac disease control their signs and symptoms and prevent complications.

Purpose

The gluten free diet can cure your  immune system, intestines and can save you from severe damage. The gluten-free diet is a treatment for celiac disease. Some people who don't have celiac disease also may have symptoms when they eat gluten. People who are unaware they have a sensitivity to gluten can cause permanent damage to their body and can suffer from nutrient loss because their digestive tract doesn't absorb nutrients from their food properly.

Gluten free has now become part of a healthy lifestyle. Gluten free, along with cutting carbohydrates, and eating more vegetables and fruit, help some people lose weight.
